Before using Robco's Gland packing, pumps in lime process in sugar mill are covered in calcium as lime water leaks out. This causes equipment deterioration, an increase in friction causes higher workload and electricity consumption, and contamination of the product.
After introducing Robco's 4029, pumps are visible and no calcium is formed in mass to obstruct the equipment's work. This overall extended the work-life of lime pumps and prevent any side effects of calcium formation mentioned in the previous video.
